Silly Season Wishlist Saviour

It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

If you don’t include the cost, the screaming, the shopping centres that are too full to navigate. All that glorious stress for one magical day of the year.
Now do not get me wrong, minus all of that, Christmas is my favourite holiday of the year. I love the decorations, I love the food, I love the coming together of families.

But there is one thing that hits the stress spot EVERY time.
What do you want for Christmas? What do the kids want? Do you have any ideas?

Lots, I have lots of ideas, but can I think of any in that one moment? No.

Well, ladies, I have the magic tool for you. And you know I am all about things that take away added stress for free

Giftster.com is ridiculously handy. Here are some of the big ticks for me

•           You can have separate wishlists for every member of your family
•           You can create groups and share your lists with people within them.
•           You can see the wishlists of other people in your group
•           Gifts are easy to add, and you can link websites for ease.
•           THEY HAVE AN APP.

Now, do I judge everything on whether it has an app? Sometimes yes, if it's going to add extra convenience to my life, then YES, yes I will. But for now, I am just going to show you the desktop version.

So when you log in for the first time, Giftster will look like this. It literally tells you how to get started. Simple.

The first thing you are going to want to do is to create a list for you and all your fam bams and choose your Privacy setting. This setting can be changed at any time.

If you want to share the list with someone who you haven’t been able to convince to download the app or join your group, you can select public, then tick the No only those whom I share the link with, so it's not randomly listed on google. But hey if you want randoms to buy you presents, then who am I to judge.

And now you just start filling up those bad boys with all those goodies you want. You can fill this out manually OR you can use the weblink fetch button.

 Just paste the web link in the panel, press fetch and then Giftster does the hard work and prefills it's for you. Now the fetch button doesn’t work for all websites (KMART YOU’RE KILLING ME) but most of the time it's good to go.

Once you’ve created your wishlists, Create your group. Your posse, your pack, your gang. Ok, you get it.

Name it and then start filling out the email addresses for everyone you want in that group.
Again like wishlists, you can have multiple groups. So if you need one for your family, one for friends, work, go right ahead.

You can also create events and select groups who see it. Anyone in the group will see the event and be reminded to purchase something for said event. Brilliant right?

The one last bonus is the shop for others tab. So when people in your group create a wishlist for themselves and their fam bams, you will be able to see them in the tab.

Now other people can see your wishlists AND you can see theirs, without the constant questions from all directions of what to get you. Just share the link and BAM, there it is.
